Hate to bump an old thread, but forgive me if this is a dumb question. If I pull out the DRL control module to do the fix, as explained in the link provided earlier, can I still drive my car without it plugged back in? If so, will I still be able to use the regular headlights? Thanks!

 

I'm having the same issue - driver side high beam not working and the DRL not working. Bulb tests good. (TL came from Canada). Going to try to find that module and check the solder joints. This link seems to be active still:

Behold, that was the problem. Soldered all of the relay joints and problem solved.

its good u repaired that because that module is pretty pricey it costs 200 bucks at the stealership.

 

This worked as advertised for me. My DRL lights wouldn't work, Hi beams and the rest did. Re-did the poor solder joints on the two relays contacts in the DRL module exactly as shown in the referred link. Thank you.
