Driver's side window stuck down, HELP!

My 2002 TL Type-S has had intermittent problems where the driver window will not come back up. Sometimes it would come back up after hitting the switch 2 or 4 times, but now it has gone thru about 3 times where it will not come up at all...but then the next day or later that afternoon it will just magically roll up when I hit the switch out of hope. There has never been any crunching sound or anything to make me think that the regulator or cables are hosed. Of course it's stuck down now, so I finally took the driver's door panel off, and I can hear the big relay clicking up in the front upper part of the door when I hit the switch up or down. This clicks only when I try the drivers window...no clicking for any of the other windows. The relay has the numbers 72256-S0K-A010 and has Honda ABS (OMRON) printed on the outside.
Does this relay have something to do with my drivers window not coming back up?

I've read about the reset, and that did not work either. Thought I'd ask you guys first.
Any help would be great, Thanks! Matt

Hmmm, did you smell any strange odor when using the window switch?

My friend's car had a burnt/dying motor for the window - I tried to roll down the window one day and started smelling a burning plastic kind of odor then it would get stuck.

No, there was no odor or burning smell. Luckily, it rolled back up last night during one of the 50 times that I tried it. But no smell, no crunching sound or any other sound out of the ordinary...just the clicking relay that I'm wondering about.

If this is like earlier Acura models that relay controls the current to the motor. If it is clicking but the motor doesn't move the relay may be bad. Most likely the switch is OK since it makes the relay click. It is also possible the window motor has gone bad. You could try measuring the voltage to the motor. If that's good but the motor doesn't work it's probably the motor. You can also try applying voltage and ground directly from the battery to the motor.

Another thing to try is spraying silicone in the window channel and lubricating
the window regulator.

It sounds like the relay to me.
