Double Drum

Hello fellow Ziners, first post long time lurker here. First of all thanks for all the informative tips and DIY on here, really saved me a lot of money lol. I have a 2003 TL-S with 141, 000 miles on the dial and since I've had the car I been using these forums to learn everything on my car. Ive bought Contis since there were great reviews on here about them, fixed blower motor, brake switch, clean egr passages/manifold, and many more problems I had. Up next working on suspension
and brake system also converting interior to led. Ive also read on the transmission issues and recently had it crap out on me. A local tranny shop rebuilt it for $1600 with 2 year warranty with 2nd year limited. The question I have is on my receipt they replaced the double drum for $215, I forgot to ask him then but for the forums do anyone know what that is, thanks in advance and thanks for the help on other issues too!

I'm a noob myself, and dont know what the double drum is inside the tranny..

but looking at this picture:

i can assume that he replaced one side, and then the other...Hence the word double.
