door sills

door sills

when putting in door sills, do you take out the current plastic piece?

also, does anyone have demensions for one? i have access to a cnc machine and want to make some of my own

Yup they go on top. Would be cool if you could get the CNC to carve out the center of the OEM sill so the sill plate sits flush inside it.

I always thought about just grinding down the ridges on the OEM sill so the sill plate sat a little lower.

Hey why not make a full sill that replaces the OEM one?

A nice polished aluminum one would be nice to replace the oem one.

i bought the very last set of the illuminated ones from our vendor and never even installed them.

by the time i got them i was over them already...

these are the ones i have... except they are in red...

and i do not know at the moment if i would like to sell them... if i decide to.. i will let everyone know before i put it up in the market..

anyone have dimmensions for those? mostly just the height that can clear the door when it closes. i would like to do a total sill replacement but getting the plans to cut that on a cnc with all the dimmensions and curves would be too much work

In that first picture with the neon still...

is that an ABP car with the tan interior??
I'd love it if my ABP's interior was tan instead of black.
I didn't know ABP cars could come with the tan.
It must not be ABP or the car isn't a Type S maybe?

I've got the same ones that Volly has. I think I paid like $100 for them. That was about 4-5 yrs ago.

im trying to make my own. i just need to know how thick those are, so i can get an idea the max hieght. does anyone know how thick those are?
