hmmmm i think those can look pretty good and be useful if installed properly..

it would be nice tho if the seller on ebay showed real pics instead of a photoshopped pic of a door handle

make sure you post pics!

btw the new RL has that for the inside, pretty nice!!

it would also be nice if it was white instead of the rice blue but ah well. we'll see what happens. is there any time controlled power supply type deal i could put in between the power on the led and the power of the aftermarket alarm.

Have them turn on whenever u have your foglight button on. Either that or headlights on.

If you have an aftermarket alarm, might try to splice into the wiring that controls the domelight feature. Don't they light up when you arm and disarm the alarm?

if not

i think that could work. question is, if i turn on the dome light while on the inside of the car, will the led's light up as well

I have a Viper alarm and the dome light lights when I arm and disarm. I asked about that feature with the auto lock and unlock. I was told I can't utilize the locking part when I turn the ignition on, because of the delay feature on the 02 TL-P (don't know if other years also). When you turn on the ignition the dome light is lit for a few seconds. I guess that affects the auto lock feature. Anybody know something different, I'm all ears. I like that feature.

It does. That is the reason the installer said he couldn't install that feature (auto lock) upon starting the car.

he said that if I wanted the auto lock feature I would have to find a way to bypass that "time" delay on the dome light. I have kids, so I would like the doors locked for my peace of mind.

im very much interested, after the all the wiring from all the doors done, where do i make a connection to the dome light?

because that would be best, they will go on with the dome light, and the dome light turns on when the car is unlocked or doors opened...

please advise on the dome light connection.

THIS IS ALL ASSUMING that somehow i can make a switch that will recognize the Middle position of the DOME light switch...i hope im making sense, if im not, im sorry.
