Don't really know what's wrong

Hi guys, I have a 2000 TL with about 71,000 miles on it and recently 2 lights have been coming on. The check engine light and the TCS light. I did a search and my guess is the tranny but I'm really not sure because my probablem isnt that similar to others. THis is what happens, when I'm driving at high speeds, sometimes at 80 or 100 the car begins to vibrate profusely, the TCS light comes on and the check engine light flashes and will sometimes become constant. After the car has been parked and moved at a later time, sometimes the check engine light will stay constant or sometimes it won't go on. Till again I around htat speed. I havent seen the light go on under 80ish MPH.. could it be the tranny? has anyone else seen such problems?

Sounds like a bad tranny. Bring it to dealer ASAP. You don't want your tranny to blow when you are on the highway

mine did that and i brought it in and it was a carbon build up in the intake plenum. it took the dealer about 30 min to take off and clean it out. they said it was a known issue. bring it in and see. it happened to my 2000 around 80000 miles. but i also had a tranny go around 75000. i would just bring it in.
