Doing 6MT swap on 2002(3) TL-S

Hey guys,

Long time, no posts

So finally saved some money to do the swap.

I want to keep my engine, since it's only 75k on it. Is it good idea, since it's already Type S?

After reading for the whole day - the best way, in my case, will be to do with RV6 module, right?

Fo far, what i have collected and merged from few sources here:

Rv6 Module
03 CLs-6 speed manual.
03 CLs-6 Flywheel 22100-PGE-026
03 CLs-6 Flywheel bolts (Qty 8) 90011-PGE-000
03 CLs-6 Clutch Assembly 22105-PGE-305
03 CLs-6 Shifter and cables. 54100-S3M-A01, 54310-S3M-A01
03 CLs-6 Starter 31200-PGE-A11
03 CLs-6 Hydraulic Clutch lines. 46960-S3M-A01, & 46970-S3M-A01
03 CLs-6 Trans mounts (2 of them) 50806-S3M-A03, 50805-S3M-A03
03 CLs-6 Cup Holder 77230-S3M-A01ZA
03 CLs-6 Parking brake 47105-S3M-A04ZA
Spring 47537-671-670, Nut 47522-594-000, Equalizer pin 47365-538-000, Equalizer 47360-SB2-000.
03 CLs-6 Rear Engine mount and bracket 50810-S3M-A01, 50827-S3M-A00, BOLT (m12X25) 90166-S3M-A00
BRAKE PEDAL ASSY 46600-S3M-A51
CLUTCH PEDAL 46910-S3M-A01
CLUTCH PEDAL BRACKET 46990-S84-A01
MASTER CYLINDER ASSY (92-95 Civic)
Clutch Fluid Tank 46965-S5A-013
Clutch Hose 46961-S3M-A02
Do I miss something, or i won't need from that list?
How about 03 CLs-6 Gauges? i don't need them, right?

How about 03 CLs-6 Clutch Assembly? Should i get aftermarket one?

Any other tips?

Sent the request for some parts on car-parts and waiting reply.
Any other sources to get those parts?

Would post the progress here.

Oem clutches aint bad and would be the most realiable and probably one of the better quality clutches just depends on your driving needs and habits. 03 gauge cluster your would only need if you dont want to see the non working automatic light up panel. You should also look up what one post somewhere i seen where one person who did his swap and wanted to keep his original motor, I think i saw he need to swap over a cam sprocket or gear cause it had a different amount of teeth... and etc. best bet would probably be to just go ahead and swap over a complete swap from a donor cl-s I found one local less then 60 miles from me complete donor cl-s for around 1900 out the door

That what i thought
Could be done any time later, if it will bother me.

How about those parts (forgot to post them before):

*If you use the J32A2 from the Auto you will need these parts (all from the CLs-6)

Front cam pulley 14260-PGE-A11
Front plate assembly (behind cam pulley) 11860-PGE-A10
Timing belt pulley(lower) 13621-PGE-A11
Crank shaft sensor 37500-PGE-A11 (this little shit costs $500.00)
Subharness for CKP 37501-PGE-A10
TDC Sensors (Qty 2) 37840-PGE-A11
TDC SUB HARNESS 37841-PGE-A10

I don't need them? If i got it right, it's only for people who upgrading to J32A2, not for those who has it already?

Karanx7, yeah....

I dont think so bro.. I think if you got an automatic its the same deal you would need those.. but who am i to say i havent done one yet its all theoretically speaking.. from common knowlege and past swap experience. Im lazy these days and I wouldnt really want to work on the car haha so I would go ahead and Pay a performance shop or my mech shop what ever it cost haha to get it for me to be turn key and go... I have done like quite a bit of honda swaps I probably have owned at least 20 motors or more haha and its always usually all the same... labor is a bitch and thats why its expensive

If you're using the richie module then you don't need that stuff. If you're not going that route then it might be a different story. Oh, and FYI that crankshaft sensor isn't $500 anymore... last time I checked it's closer to $50.

That made the swap a LOOOT easier. All the little various parts you need are just waiting to be picked if you get a donor car.
