Foglights gone JDM style

Decided to wrap (more of a cover) the fogs a few days ago with the dark yellow JDM mix you normally see. I'm a 3000k foglight lover and especially when they're paired with projector headlights with a colorful cutoff. I think there's only a handful of people in the forum who know that look I'm talking about it.

So, I got online and ordered some wrap and got to work as soon as it arrived. I took some comparison shots of with/without wrap and the results were drastic. The wrap seems to catch and fill the entire lens area rather than only being bright in the area where the bulb is seen. Due to the full glow, the effect much better and that deep yellow is piercing! I love it but tell me what you guys think...

Here's a before shot:

And another of the other side after...

And then the side by side...

And then one without the lights on just to show the color:

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Yes, and the wheels are new as well. Bought them in the BM...gawd that's a bad place for me on here. They're 18's and are 9.5" wide fitted with 225 35 18 Goodyear GTs. That makes for a nice streeeetch. It was funny because everyone kept telling me they didn't have the capability to do stretched tires and then when someone finally said he would do it, he asked after he finished "there's no special procedure. You just put them on." lmao...

what's the offset?

sometimes there is a special process for stretching tires, depending on how aggressive the stretch is. hairspray and a lighter

Yes indeed. I'm currently on the hunt for a good set of coilovers. New or used but preferably used. I figured 1/2" lower would settle nicely...I agree with you.

see how they hold up to the heat...on my RSX they burned a brownish spot in the middle. Then again, I had halogen bulbs cause it was when HID's still cost 240 a pop!

Looks great though...Mr. non YOUNG one innovator guy.

To each his own but hey, that's what makes them all unique bro! I did the headlights myself but wish now I would've done some classy/creative blacked out theme inside. I'll tell you one thing man, if you ever install projectors in your lights, you will never want to drive without them again! If you're serious about doing it, check out this list of headlight retrofitters:

Well, by your statement I'm sure you know that halogens run much hotter than Xenon bulbs. Besides, I have an entire 12"X48" roll to replace a few if they get too hot, lol.

And $240! Jeez, you can get them on eBay for $10 now...talk about a bargain huh? JOKING. I easily spent close to grand just on the optics and electronics inside these babies. So $240 to me still seems like a great deal.

i never liked those yellow fog light overlays

but everything else looks good.. i'd probably open up your headlights, black out the silver strip on the side of the lens and do partial painting for the turn signal area.

Thanks for the critique. New headlights are in the soon-to-do list.

and I agree, can always redo it...my solution to that was to NOT run them all the time.
