Arrow does your front skirt rub the sidewalk?

for those of you with the front skirt...doesn't it rub against the sidewalk when you park? or do u guys just take extra caution when parking and park like at least a foot away from the curb?

cuz after i parked i noticed that from where my car was and where the sidewalk was..there would be no room for a front spoiler....

that's what's really holding me back from getting the whole spoiler skirt kit for my car

...

You gotta have some respect for your car man! You can't just pull up to the curb until your tires touch the curb, letting your nose hang over. Some curbs you can, even with a Comptech drop and a kit. But if the curb is too high you could rip off your front bumper cover!

if youre careful, like not pulling in all the way and going diagonal over steep inclines, then youre fine - if not, like my dad, then you mess up the front of your son's car.

Well, the front lip of the TL is just high enough to meet the US curb height minimums, I think. So if you put a body kit on it it will probably go below the minimum height and will rub on the sidewalk.

As a matter of practicality, I never park with my bumper over the curb. I've been burned too many times with curbs that look low enough but turn out to be just a half-inch too high, or by parking lots that dip down right when your lip is over the curb.

Good idea! Yep the front lip would most likely hit the curb if you're not careful. You just have to be aware of stuff like that when parking. You don't have to worry about side and rear skirts.

I got no body kit and I still got scratched up lip. I drive my car too hard I tell ya, but it only scratches the bottom nothing too visible. I too will have to be more careful and not park over the curb if I'm gonna get a body kit.

No it won't.....now if you put any aftermarket springs it does in some of them. I drove my car for more than 8 months with the kit and no aftermarket springs, I only rub once, but it was a really high side walk.

I don't own any skirts, front nor sides, only pants and shorts. Back into stalls is my recommendation.
