springs strictly lower the car and give it better handling for less money!!!

coilovers are adjustable springs that move up and down... you have you use a wrench to lower your car... much more expensive, dont know too much about handling...Shyne...

They are both the same thing, but coil over springs can be ajusted in height, by making them smaller from top to bottom. They are about twice as $$ as the springs. It handles the same if you lower them the same as the springs.

Don't most complete coilovers come in a matched spring/shock set? Designed to work with each other? Adustable ride comfort and height, independent of each other? You could get Comptech springs and Koni Yellow shocks, but the only thing adjustable would be the ride control from the Konis, right?

Well coilover is height adjustable spring. There are height adjustable spring but I am not sure if those are coilovers. Coilovers from what I understand shold have matching shock/spring.

btw, anyone know what is coil-spring?

Some coilovers come with shocks, but they don't have to be ajustable. There are system were you can ajust bound and rebound seperaly, I think that is Level 5 or 6.

I think you meant to say... a coilover is a height adjustable spring. There are coilovers with adjustable ride stiffness but not all have it.
