3rd gen owner but my car does have a name....it's Lucy. Named so because that's the station I listen to on XM radio and when I first bought the car I didn't know how to change the radio display so it said Lucy all the time. I joke that when she's full of her self she goes by The Lucy or TL for short.

named Moo because the comptech's make her sound like a friggin cow at the lower rpm's. my friends named it one day and thus it's been the unofficial name, I suppose.
Sadly, she MOOs no more...

Our old 2 gen was aptly named "AX" because it was "cutting" to the chase or shorthand for Acura. Now our 3 gen's handle is: "Mrs. T" because she pitty's the fool who don't have one(TL).

My TL can do this, too!

Just got mine...I was trying to come up with a name and "Pearl" seemed to stick kind of, but the gf doesn't really like it so maybe it should be something else....plus that doesn't seem original but maybe I doesn't matter. I don't know!

Sally
Originally Slippin Sally, because I was following the wife home, who was driving her Camry, during a big snow storm. No matter how gently I braked or accelerated the ABS and traction control would immediately activate (and I have a LOT of experience in the snow). She didn't have a single issue in her 4-cyl Camry, it was practically like driving a 4-wheel drive.
I'll be replacing the OEM tires before next winter, these things are lousy when conditions are bad.

BTW: The Camry's name is "Bob."

'02 TL-S = Big Daddy, or Big blue every now and then (ABP). had an old honda that was blue, named Ole Blue (312k miles when sold), then a newer '00 Accord V6 named Goldy. Sold Goldy for a good profit after upgrades and purchased Big Daddy, named for the fact that I stepped into the luxury line relatively speaking. Big Daddy.
'04 TL = Herby, it is my wife's car, she drives it on the road 2x a week, up a long steep hill on the interstate. All the other cars slow down, but Herby downshifts and zooms up the hill with no propmting (cruise control). She says she has white knuckles by the time she reaches the top.

I refer the navigation "lady" as Lucy. I didn't want to call her Lunatic but the 2002 old lady misguided me many times. I thought the name Lucy is silly enough. LOL.
BTW do you think the 2G TL is a lady car? I note often that this car is driven by ladies on the road.
