sounds like an alignment problem
the TL is stable stable stable--thru all speeds
any vibration on braking is bad
any noises are bad

that stock upper strut tower brace helps, but you can add a real one that only goes between the struts to it--the stock one mounts to firewall as well

every TL came stock with everything!
the ps, pw, p-seats, leather, p locks, ac, etc

the only `option` was navigation-w/digital climate control (for type P,, iirc stock on type S)
and cd player,,single or 6 disc

for anyone looking at an older TL--plan on new nav disc-
about 150 dollars when you join www.owners.acura.com

Would this be a part that wears out??? Im re doing my suspension at 145k (stock shocks, mounts, stabilizer bars)..... I want that brand new "handling" feeling back that my TL-S has lost throughout the years!! Would the tower brace be good for life? or would it be a good idea to replace it??

no need to replace it. they dont wear out. If you want that "new" feeling you need to replace all the control arm bushings and radius rod bushings as well.

TL Options:
-Type S
-Navi

Those are the two options, and they have nothing to do with each other. If you have a Type S, you don't necessarily have a navigation w/ digital climate control.

my bad--in 01 there was only type P cars-- nav was the only option

anything later I have to offer a `best guess`
was logical to me--that type S came with the nav/digital temp control
