Your warranty cannot be voided unless the dealer can prove the aftermarket part caused the failure. In other words it would be tough, if not impossible for a dealer to prove springs caused a tranny failure.

If you're worried, check with your dealer b/c each dealer is run differently, so some may not care so much about mods while others may not want you to even tint the windows. In the end it's the dealer's call... so check with them for a definitive answer.....

Also some dealers won't do alignments/balance/even oil change if the car is lowered too much.

True, however you know that dealers are tricky bastards. I asked my service advisor if aftermarket sway bars voided any warranty and he said that was fine, however, he warned me about lowering the car. He said that if the car is lowered, most likely the warranty will be voided.

All dealers are different..at my dealership, intake/exhaust/springs won't void the warranty but headers/blower will. Best advice would be like juniorbean stated..make sure to ask your dealer what you can and can't do.

It shouldn't. The dealer has to prove without a reasonable doubt that it was that mod that caused the damage. Dealers won't go through that much trouble, they would probably just fix it.
