Question Does alarm roll down windows?

Does the TL-S factory alarm have the option to roll down the windows when you unlock the car?

I did a search and found a few posts that had mods to do it on the TL-P.
I would RTFM but I don't have my car yet so I can't
Brochure and web site don't mention this but they also don't mention one touch windows which seems to be new for '02.

Thanks

No none of the Acuras do that. You'd have to buy window modules from companies like DEI, Clifford to do that.

you actually do not want the windows to roll down as soon as you unlock the doors (er, with the same button/press) especially if it's raining or snowing. rather, you would like to have this option added to an extra output and normally, stock alarms do not have this (unless it's built into the system like those of bmw and lexus).

Yep. Nissan got it right in the Maximas though. You press the unlock button once to unlock the door, and if you kept it held down it would unroll the windows. Hard to do accidentally but very easy to do when you need it....

Yeah, that's what I meant, roll down the windows on the third press (and hold) of the unlock button like the Max and BMW. I had one of each and it sure was nice in the Florida heat.

i got a aftermarket one

I got a module for the window roll up and down but like the otehrs said you dont want your window down after unlocking you door. you want them down when you want them down by pressin other buttons. If you are in SD. i can indro you to this place that does the alarm... (python) auto start window up and down chirp and all the good stuff for around $600. That is a AWESOME price. I love my alarm becasue i dont even hae to step into my car to start my car.. a real eye catcher and as for the windows and auto start.. its freakin NICE man... the first day i got it i was playin with it for hours... so there is no OEM window but i suggest one if you have the money.

Thanks AZN G RYDE,

SD is a little far for me (about a 5 day drive) but thanks for the offer. I think I will go with your idea when I get my ride (as soon as Ford buys back my POS Cobra).

PS. Love your color choice
