Hmmm.....it appears to me that the intakes are one piece. the one for the Accord V6's come in two pieces. Was there a little bit of a different design when it came to the J32A2 (Type S)?

Even with the 2 piece I had to cut off approx. 1.3 inches to fit the bypass. There was NO way it was going to fit without cutting.

Yeah I cut it and installed it...
Crzy Acura:
"yea i did, i dont know if you HAVE to, but my CAI came with extra sticker, so just take off the one thats on their now,cut the pipe and put the other sticker on.
Dont cry over it! "
No sticker for mine man...ah well who cares
Acura3200:
I ended up fitting the whole thing in with just cutting out the size for the bypass that they suggested....it wasn't easy but it fits just inside a notch in the bumper. But now a question I have...the pipe I pushed into the filter...I wonder should I remove it and cut a few inches off of the pipe...so it doesn't stick so far down into the filter? Any suggestions guys? Do you all think that would be an important thing to consider?

as long as the pipe doesn't go past the boot of the filter, meaning, damn, hard to describe... as long as the pipe isn't pushed into the the intake part of the filter, it should stay in the sleeve part of it.
I hope that makes sanse.

oh yeah, my AEM intake came with the sticker on the intake and 2 more AEM stickers in the box.
The sticker on the intake was upside down (freakin stupid) so I had to take it off and put one of the other stickers it came with in it's place.
you sure yours didnt come with extra stickers? Mine also came with a license plate frame. I don't see why they would stop including that stuff.
