Do not make the mistake I made.
Using SS during the 1st 600 miles TOTALLY Screws up your transmission and will ruin your car!!!!!!

I Didn't realize this until I read the entire owners manual!!!! THERE IS A HUGE WARNING!!!!
NOW I'VE GOT BIG PROBLEMS!!!!!

Hey,
What happens if you drive on the high way going 65MPH using D4?

My wife took my car second day I had it and she drove around using D4 since that's what she has on her Legend.

She's like what's the D5 for? Geeze!

That should be OK. My service advisor suggested D4 for moderate speed freeway driving for the break-in period. Maybe easier to vary speed?

TLSDave,
Thanks for the info.

I think you were wise not to post the deal you got on this board. Dealer I bought mine from got some what upset after one of their customer who had already purchased the car and was waiting for delivery saw my post and call them up wanting big discount.

Thanks for the support, driver. Actually, I posted the deal, just not the dealer name at the salesman's request. But good deals are out there as I was happy with my transaction and you did even better. BTW, I believe D4 is just "low overdrive".

P.S. Somebody asked me to post my sales contract and then someone finally offered instructions. I said my more photogenic better half would do it this past weekend. Should have asked her first as she said "its easy, you figure it out".

I will "figure it out" at some point and will also post pics of my de-badged rear. I like the clean look. Some of we more mature (OK, older) posters like the idea of a near-luxury car, understated, yet blowing the doors off unsuspecting opponents. That's why the only appearance option I ordered was the burlwood shift knob, which I couldn't resist.

Dude, that almost got me.
I could see the 2nd post(reply) where you said it was only a joke though so it ruined it.

Pretty good one though.
