i think it would be a great idea if the admins rounded up all the DIY mods into one sticky so everyone can see. believe it or not. its ont easy searching for them

so please a section for DIY will be the best idea this forum ever has

 

I agree. There's a ton of GREAT information on this forum, but it truly is hard to find and not that organized.

 

I thought a member was starting this DIY section project like 3-4 month ago, neve rheard from him since.

 

i asked the same question a few months ago.

 

It might have been me (2nd gen TL Garage, like the 3rd gen garage!)... I mentioned it to Kris (about 3 months ago), but he doesn’t have time... and neither do I. If mods/admins can change their own prefs then it would be easy... You know how you cant search for 3 letter words ex: "DIY"... well if a mod can change their own prefs so they can search for "DIY" then it should be relatively simple, right?

If changing prefs is possible, then I would be willing to try to squeeze this in... in-between work and my insurance claim... someone hit my bumper WHILE I WAS PARKED! WTF! so now I have a nice ripple effect in the paint on my bumper... have to go get an estimate.
yea so, if a mod can change my prefs to searching for 3 letter words than I will see what i can do... Mods let me know, or one of you could do it? it is just an issue of time.

 

Also, if everyone wants to try to do this together, then you can just start posting DIY links in here and someone or I can organize it later.

 

we cant change the 3 letter search. You need to come up with better search terms. its not hard and the search actually works good. you just need to pick your key words better.

Also if any one wants to start a thread and you guys dont post usless crap in it and just post the DIY you found, Once we get enough of them ill make a DIY page with a sticky. But ill need a little help

 

that sounds like a good idea.. i'll have to lend a helping hand also. this would be very helpful thing.

no comments or suggestions on the thread just links and a description. ill start with some im going to do.

 

We'll look into possibly organizing either a DIY section or sticky a DIY thread. In the meantime use the search feature guys.
