im going to paint my engine cover and i also want to paint my aem intake. does anybody know the exact steps? like whoat paint, primer and sand paper to use for both the intake and the engine cover. my intake is grey and i want it to be red

 

ok got the info for the engine bay, how about the intake painting? im thinking just sand, primer and paint.

 

yeah i think its the same thing. Talk to edgaland (sp?) i remember he's done it and it came out nice.

ok so today i took off the engine cover and intake. i sanded the intake and primed it. i didnt sand the engine cover, i just primed it do you guys think its ok ? or did i screw myself?


i also painted the calipers. from the pics i noticed of other ppl's cars, nobody has the brakes painted. there is a dollar coin sized area in between the caliper where you see the brakes. i dont think it looks bad but im wondering, how did you guys tape that area up?!
