Dirt problem

Hi people,

I seem to be having a dirt problem. It seems that the rear bumper area just behind the wheel has LOTS of dirt and stains. I guess thats why I should install my mudguards.

Is there a product that can get rid of these dirt stains? I have washed the car many times and I am unable to remove the dirt and stain marks.

What products do you guys use or recommend? Thanks

The dirt should wash off with soap and water. The stains are probable Tar that got kick off from the road. Do the Following:
1. Install mud guards
2. Buy a Bug & Tar remover from any auto retail store (Pep BOys, Advance Auto Parts, Autozone..). My experience, Aerosol spray brands works alot better than squirt plastic bottle brand. DONT buy Turtle Wax brand.

If you're talking about tar on the underside, use a tar & sap remover from your auto store, then wax that area as soon as you can.

Don't forget to apply wax (or Zaino ) regularly all over your painted surfaces; this will prevent the tar from sticking in the first place. I have mudguards on and I use Zaino religiously; I haven't had a single tar stain I couldn't get out with some water and a cotton towel.

the mudguards are useful but it's not perfect. here in san jose it's been raining for quite some time already and when i get over muddy area the mudguards are simply useless. the muds/water/dirt will spill all over the sides of the car no matter what.
