diff type of tranny

diff type of tranny

hey guys are there any other tranny that could fit our cars. Like after market ones?

A company called Level10 makes tranny upgrades for our car. That's about all I have heard of.....

i dont know wat ima do if my tranny goes......im at 30k miles and if it blows after the warranty, im going to try to fit a 6-speed cl-s tranny with the help of a friend

hopefully, this company will build a nice tranny for the tl-s

does this Level10 place make manual trannies for our car? i would love to drop a 5 or 6 speed in my TL.

They don't manufacture transmissions, they make performance upgrade kits that replace many of the internal components.

I believe it was in the $4000 - $5000 range for a performance transmission upgrade.

Trying to put a 6-speed tranny in the car would cost a ridiculous amount of money.

Well is not just a swap nor easy bolt on, but yes it duable. It will cost you a good amount of money.

you are going to need:

New 6-speed tranny......cost $4k-$5k
New ECU-PCM....cost over $1k
New center console, shifter, etc.....cost over $500.
New gauges.....cost over $400. not just the plate
If you have a type S.....removing VSA.....TLP.....removing TCS.
Labor $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

probably new axles/CV joint, since they might not be the same lenght.

that is all I could think of at the moment.
