chrome license plate

Hello, I searched the forums and maybe I over looked it.
I found one site
plates
I want the actual plate to replace the front tag, not the frame, does anyone know of a place that I can get the plate for cheaper than this website? I checked the auto store and they didnt have any, I checked the high priced detailing shop here and they had them for 45 dollars. Im convinced that I can always find everything for cheaper on the net (and I usually do) anyone have any links that can help.

Isn't it illegal not to have your front license plate? I know in CA you have to have it or else we'll get a ticket for it.

Well, I never really knew how much these pieces are. But the site you we're at have them. I say your best bet is to order it .

Also, It is illegal for not having a front plate. But usually the more "higher" end cars can get away with it. You know how society is. And also depends who the police officier is.

In CA they use to enforce that "Front license plate" law...now they aren't enforcing it as hard. It was all because those stupid "red light cameras." People would run red lights and the camera would take pictures...the problem was that no one had their front license plate on...so it was pointless...and about 8 months ago...the police decided to enforce the law...and now they are more leanent. I live in Orange County...next to Westminster (rice city) and never got pulled over for no front license plate....it's a $35 fix it ticket.

But only if you were issued two plates. If you were originally issued one (like me), then having a rear plate only is perfectly legal (in MA).

P.S. Good to see another Western MA TL'er on here....

This is okay to do as long as you put your front plate in view (which would be in the front window) I really like the look of the chrome plate. But no one provided any additional links so does that mean that there are no more sites to purchase the plates from and I didn't overlook any??
