debagging a TLP..Lame or Not

Everytime I see a debagged 4 cyl eclipse or accord with a tin can on the back I think your so lame with your 145 hp car...stop wasting money or mods and just buy the turbo or the V6.
Anyway...u guys think debagging the TLP with mods is lame or not.... or do you think to yourself.."hey go buy the Type S"

I've never thought that.

I think the trunk of all TLs is a bit busy looking with the 3 emblems; Big A, A C U R A and the 3.2 TL. Then the Type S adds even more. It looks better with just the 'Big A', plus maybe the A C U R A.

debaged my 3.2 TL logo, looks great IMHO with just the A and the Acura. I think just the A looks kinda funky bc it's not centered vertically on the trunk lid

Well, I think then you debadge and only leave the A it looks like a benz, and it really does if you have an 03, even if you dont get the 03 badge and you can cover up the holes and move it about 1 inch down more....it really looks tight and I'm going to leave the type-S but lose the ACURA and 3.2

i run with the acura emblem and the ACURA on back, the 3.2TL is off center and makes it look unbalanced

be sure to add some V-tech stickers, that'll really set it off.

I would say about 6 of 10 on a difficulty scale, the film doesn't like to bend (because of the thickness of the film) around the corner of the tail so a little heat from a hair dryer makes things easier, will not come off, if you stick you're nose right up to it you can see defects (my job) but back up 5' and it looks great. Taking time and having patience is the key.

Clean it up! I can't believe that Acura went so far as to remove the key hole for a cleaner look, then negated the efforts by clustering up our trunk lid with all those emblems.

Mine currently only has the A and Acura. I don't like the way the A sits by itself.

Mine are just sitting in a bag with my other useless car crap. My brother suggested that I put them on the pop-out tray in the center console above the radio. I test-fitted it, and it's perfect. I might do that. These badges are expensive; I paid for 'em, might as well use 'em.

I'm confused. Since all debadged TLs look the same, how can one come out nice and one not? BTW, I like the debadged look.

Not sure...but I always debadge all my cars...regardless if it's modded or not. (primarily to make it look "even").

I think it's OK to debadge -- it's cleaning it up. But more importantly, it's not pretending to be something it's not (ie Type-R badges everywhere on a Civic when it's a DX model)

Debadging is a good idea with almost any car IMO, especially the TL. Too many. I debadged mine completely (except for the A symbol). I just wish the A symbol didn't have the holes behind it
