I just got back from the dealer with a price quote of $780 for a rear spoiler, 800 for rear skirt, and 750 for the side skirt. WOW!!!!!!! That is TOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way...the seat heater problem is caused by a faulty cercuit. THe part is coming in soon.

HELL Yea they over charge. Why buy a stock spoiler for $780 a spoiler when you can get a wings west flush mount spoiler from snook for a fraction of the price. They tried charge me also $1000 to lower my car with comptech springs, and $1200 for OEM bodykit. I don't if certified acura technians installed them, for the price difference, I'll do it myself.

My dealer wanted $180 for the burlwood shift knob. I walked down to the parts department and got it for half, and screwed it on in two minutes.

The lady who tried to sell it to me when I bought the car lied and said a special tool was needed, but this board had already told me the truth. What a b*tch...

Hey Acurajoe, I am getting the OEM bodykit from AHMotor for a total of $884.20 including s/h. They are in Pennsylvania. I will try to install it myself.

 

They wanted $90 for mud guards plus installation. I just got them from A&H Motorsports for $63 including shipping, gunna install it myself, all it is, is a bunch of screws.

 

I could've told you that they overcharge. Did ya figure that one out by yourself?

acurajoe, go to another dealer. i got quoted about 1740 (before tax)cnd for the whole kit w/o spoiler. i ended up ordering it from ahmotor.com, and by the time it got to my house, i only saved about $300. i could have easily saved that much if i got it from the dealer
