The day after the drop

Finally, my car is dropped. The H&R sports drop is about perfect, even on stock rims The car looks so much more balanced now. There are less roll, swat, and lift. I've about 1.5 finger gaps front and 1 finger gap at the back. The ride is almost the same as stock. I didn't take any before or after pics as I forgot my camera on the install day But I've posted some pics on the gallery section

In case you want to see some before and after comparison...

Before the drop:

After the drop:

Tatewaki,

Where did you get the drop done? NICE PICS! Now I have to come up and check out your car ... will be some time in October. On Saturday -- I fly off to Australia! See you in 3 weeks!

It was 520$ parts & labor. The shop is at MacCowan and Hwy 7. I drove to his shop in the morning, picked him up then I drove to work. He drove my car back to his shop then he drove it back to me around lunch time. Talk about good customer service! I was without my car for about half a day and it's all done.

next mod = rims + TIRES... dont just rice it out, ud definitely want to improve ur handling on the car too (sway bars, strut braces, new struts probably since u just changed the springs cuz its too much for the stock struts to deal with for long)

$520 CDN is about $350 USD, but still that's kinda expensive because the springs are only $169. Did you change your shocks too?

OE drop is less than 1", are you sure that's enough for ya? Post some pics when it's done!

I'll get an alignment next weekend for the springs to settle. My rear camber is off for sure, but don't know how much. Not very noticeable though. I don't think I'll need a camber kit. Without then it'd actually run my stock tires out, give me an excuse to get 225/50/16. Then I'll get camber kit

True, but when we buy from outside of Canada we need to pay duties/customs. Last time I bought bulbs from autolamps, I had to pay an extra 60$ to get them out. If I buy the springs from states, the shipping and custom will jack up the price, may end up being more expensive than to have the shop order them for me

my front camber wasn't off that much, but the rear DEF. needs a camber kit.

the best price i've found for a rear camber kit has been $179 US w/shipping.

can anyone beat that?
