did you know that you can get schedule transmission fluid flush for free?

my second (#2) transmission just went out at 31k...first one out at 18k. so if you figure between 10k-15k before tranny fluid flush, you get new tranny fluid and trany...just venting. :p

I don't believe that frequent flushes are necessary, I had the dealer flush the tranny every 5k before my 1st tranny went out.

I don't drive too hard, but it shouldn't matter because acura/honda must have design the tranny to have some margin before failure...I hope. My 89 toyota pickup is still running strong on its original engine and tranny (auto) even after 250k and I drove my toy extremely rough.

hopefully, more acura tl owners will get their tranny replace so that acura/honda will redesign the tl tranny rather that just replace them because I don't see a difference in the replacement tranny.

same tranny failure mode: jerky shifting, high reving, slipping gear and a light smell of something burning (very faint).
