My SRS light came on a couple of weeks ago, so i took it to dealer and they fixed the SRS sensor(Seatbelt recall?) Well now It came on again today. Is it the seatbelt again???

just took mine into the dealership today...they said it would take 1.5 hours, took them 35 minutes. All they said was that the seatbelt sensor was failing.

 

Sam thing happened to me couple of weeks ago & I took it to one of the Acura dealer & they fixed it under warrenty. They told me it's the seatbelt buckle.

Hey [VTEC]TL,.is me vtec I just took my car back yesterday,[did u see her today at school] just park two car next to u.They took 2 days fix SRS sensor.They toll me is sensor under the pass seat.The sensor is as big as the seat like.And got my car with alot of birl sh*t on it.Didn't wash it for me.

Hey VTEC, yeah I did see your car 2day at skool. By the way, which Acura Dealer did you take it to, Acura of South Florida??? They suck azz. Did you get a loaner vehicle? I'm prob. going to take my car to Rick Case Acura tommorow morning and hopefully they'll be done with the car before the meet tommorow. Anyone been to Rick Case for the SRS prob.??? How long did it take???

Yep,Acura of South florida.I did get a loaner
which is neon.I didn't drive to school.I think it should take more than one day.U better ask than do they have SRS sensor before go over to RC.Try AOSF may be they should have sensor.They said alot TL have same think happen.Before u go call then to safe u a loaner.

May be u get go Acura of South Florida after the meet.And to all want to c [VTEC]TL ride.I can tell u it is so sweet I wish I can make my TL just look like that.But some of u can c on Friday meet in SFL.

Mine turned on the other day because I have a short in my Harness A fog harness. I was wiggleing it around and it turned on. I am reseting it on saturday and will see if it comes on again. I had my seat bellt thing changed 4 months ago because it still said my seat belt was off even when I plugged it in. I got a recall card in the mail for the seatbelt thing. Should I go again?

 

[vtec]tl. i had the SAME THING happen to mine. But what we have in common between our cars is the black light. The dealer ( i dont' know if he's bullshitting me) but gave me this paper saying that blackights, strobes, neons all **** up the sensors in the seat. I thought this was complete bullshit but i guess it's been a problem with other TL's or something. I mean he gave me an official written statement from acura and everything.

Blacklights mess with the SRS sensors??? Is this true??? Anyone know for sure??? Any way to get aroaund this??? I've had my blacklight for a couple of weeks already and it just now came on. This would mean that I should probably take off my blacklight b4 I go to the dealer just to be safe right???
