Which damn plug do I use for a 2003 CL type S?? O'reilly says one thing, autozone says another, NGKsparkplugs.com says another and NGK.com says another LOL!

Seriously though, I want to use the iridium IXs since they're a bit cheaper

O'reilly says to use:ZFR5FIX-11 #2477

Autozone says to use the laser iridiums(long life): IZFR6K11 #6994

NGKsparkplugs.com says to use the same as mentioned for autozone

NGK.com says to use: ZFR5FIX-11 #2477 (same as oreilly)

BUT, I found one more plug ZFR6FIX-11 #6441 which is one step colder than that which ngk.com specifies, but ngksparkplugs.com specifies the colder plug but a different model?

Any advice? I'm leaning towards the ZFR6FIX-11 #6441 which i'll most likely do once thanksgiving break hits and i'm out of school for a few days...

 

i know what the TL should use, but I'm not sure if it's the same for the CL. you do realize you posted this in the 2nd gen TL subforum, right?

You have Type S, you MUST use cold plug which has #6 in the middle. #5 is for type p.
