I'm not sure if it is a coincidence but I replaced the head unit today and now the D5 light on my dash doesn't light up. The rest of them work fine. I've done searches on everything I can think of and can't find anything. What can it be????

That happened to me too!! i thought it was just a coincidence the light going out after but i guess not... I never got around to replacing the bulb. I would like to know why this happened tho

 

I have no idea why these things would/could be related. I would like to know what to do to fix it though...

 

My D4 light went out today on my 99'. So many things keep happening to my car now the colder and colder it gets ...

 

To replace that stupid LED behind it you gotta replace the whole RPM gauge.

 

BOOOO!!!!! I don't see myself doing that. I still wonder if it has something to do with replacing the HU.

 

Same thing happened to me while I was putting in reverse glow gauges. I don't know why it would go out like that, but I opened the back and it doesn't seem like an easy fix. I'm relatively upset about it, but I guess there's nothing I can really do.

 

My D4 light came back by itself 2 days ago, just like my clock light.
