Question D5 & Digital Gear Readout Problem

When I first picked up my TLS, I noticed when I put the tranny in SS, the D5 light would go out and the digital readout for the selected gear would illuminate. Now, after 3000 miles, when I put the shifter in SS mode, the D5 light stays on solid regardless what gear I select in SS mode. I know...back to the dealer. I was curious if anyone else experienced this?

I think the D5 is supposed to stay illuminated when you go into SS.......I'm not sure but I'll check when I leave school and I'll post it later today. Unless someone can confirm this before I get home.

the car isn't cheap, so it's normal to be concerned. Then you have nit-picks like me who take it to a whole new level...LOL:p

It's suppose to stay on--though I too would think it would turn off if in SS mode. See the picture at the top of this page? It's correct (except for the redlining!)
