Im thinking about cutting my OEM springs, however im not sure how many coils should i cut. I just want around -1.5 fronts and -1.0 in the back. Any suggestions. Thanks.

lol please don't tell me you're gonna actually do this.

you'll be facing serious consequences with cut springs. do it right the first time, save up and get a pair of h&r 50103 springs.

spring rates play a big part in how your car handles and rides.
cut a little bit off and you change the rate significantly.

i would rather buy those cheap $40 "coilover" springs off of ebay than cut my springs.

be patient and save up money. if you rush car modding with limited funds, you end up with garbage.

Do not cut your springs. The stock shocks will still be the factory length, trying to settle a car that is lower than engineered for. You will be bottoming out your suspension, your shocks will blow out the first big bump or pothole, and your car will weave and bob all over the place. It will only be right standing still.

Ever see some old trashed cars dumped to the ground that hop around like a jackhammer after hitting bumps? It's because they cut their springs and are bottoming out.
