Question Cutting the fog light holes

How have most of you guys done this. Did you guys just use a razor blade and cut around the plastic cover? I have no idea what to do so i am not going to attempt this yet.

The shop had to use a Dremmel Tool and it broke one of their blades. Personally, I regret having the entire thing cut out now.

AC why do you regret it having it cut out? Does it not look as clean cut as you thought? After reading your post i might just stick the fog lights in the air vent inbetween the holes. How did everybody else cut these holes open?

It shows everything that's behind the fake holes.

Originally, I had asked the guys to cut it all out but after they told me that it won't look good, I decided not to cut it all out. They contoured the opening around the fogs.

Put my fogs in the vent holes. No cutting no nothing. I am totally happy with them. Took me an hour to do the whole instalation.

Does anybody know if the 1900x will fit in the air vents?

My fogs are perfectly round, so I used doorknob-cutting bit to cut out the circle. And then used a Dremel tool with the sideways-cutting drill bit to finish it off.

If any of you guys have roto tool, I'd highly recommend getting the sideways-cutting drill bit (not sure what it's called). I have found it usefull on many occasions.
