Creaking huh? Sounds like suspension to me. PS problems are usually more of a "whine" noise. Have your suspension checked out.

My car would creak in hot weather at slow speeds. Replaced the passenger side CV axle, now its creak free.

My car creek's but i dont think its from the suspension its either from the passenger seat or something round the sunroof, because when i close the sunroof..shade?..i guess its called the noise goes away.

for that, ck out the sunroof track screws- they like to loosen, ck the pop up thing in front too
clean the tracks and lube- treat the rubber with silicone spray, for a better wind seal

ck the shock `top hats`- spray silicone on everything rubber
ck sway bar end links and bushings

always check the last thing done
a mount may be offset slightly or loose bolt or.....???

even control arm bushings need to be inspected
get the car on a lift and have at it

Ding ding ding....We need to make a sticky for this one.

I had my transmission replaced and probably about the same mileage later I started hearing a clunk when I let off the gas. Started as a squeak. Turns out they installed the lower control arm bushings backwards.

Here is the culprit.
#10 and #11 they are rubber bushings that can be very easily put in backwards. According to a post I read a while ago, it's a common mistake.
So now the hard part. It's a bit of a pain to remove.

You'll have to remove your front bumper, the fork (#17 & #18) that hold the lower end of the shock and even then you'll have to work with open-ended wrenches to get that arm out to switch the bushings. The bolts (#23) are the ones that are a tight spot to get to. Removing the front sway bar would certainly help but i just didn't feel like removing it.

^Curious, how did you find out that was the problem? Located the area of the noise?

By replacing 3 motor mounts, 2 axles, & coilover bushings first

I've looked at that diagram a couple of times, removed the radius rod a few times and never realized that the those bushings were put on backwards until your post. Thanks

I have a 'creeking' as well and I believe I have narrowed it down to the sub-frame insulators #'s 12 & 13 on the front beam and #'s 7 & 8 on the rear beam.

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

I've replaced over the last 24 months for normal 100K+ maintenance: inner/outer LCA bushings, front lower ball joints, front bearings, front sway bar bushings/endlinks, front struts (including TL-S strut bushings) with new spring silencer tubes, & Raxles axles. It's nothing that I can't live with; however, the creeking is still there, usually at lower speeds as mentioned above.

The only things left are the torsion bar bushings and the front sub-frame insulators.

I had a similar problem. I believe the 2G TL has the same upper console that houses the two map lights, homelink buttons and sunglass holder as the CL-S6. If you carefully remove the plastic lens cover from over the map lights you will find two phillips head screws that fasten this area of the roof liner. Those two screws, in my car over the last 9 yrs. had come completely loose. There are two more phillips screws within the area of the sunglass holder that had come loose as well. Once those were tightened, the nuisance noises that I thought were coming from my sunroof disappeared. So, if you have rattles and such from that area, visit those screws to see in they are secure.
