Cracking Door Pillars

Hi, I need help fixing my door pillars. The shiney black stalk on the doors are fading and cracking...What can I do to fix it?,

on ebay there are some carbon fiber type pillars that go on with double sided tape, you just slap it on over your existing pillars, looks pretty decent.

yea why not? as long as you still have your warranty i don't see why they wouldn't

They're only covered for 3 years....or was it 4?

I called Acura Care today and it is not cover under the extended warranty I bought. The warranty only covers mechanical issues, not cosmetic as he put it.
So no I may have to replace them or do that carbon fiber cover up?

Trim items (including the door pillars) ARE covered under the initial factory 3 year/50,000 mile warranty. They are NOT covered under AcuraCare extended warranties. If you have a third party extended warranty, you'll have to check its terms and limitations.

initial warranty is 4yr/50k, which ever comes first. on top of that certain items are extended even further
