I have an 01 TL and I had gotten into a front end accident and had gotten everything fixed. Then my right headlight started flickering and then just stopped working. Swapped bulbs and still the same. Took it to the dealer and they said the entire HID system needs to be replace. Also, the left side has moisture leaking so that is getting messed up too so that needs to be replaced. Gave an estimate of $2,4xx to fix it. Now thats an absurb amount to spend, especially considering I spent a lot on body work.

My question is, can I purchase an aftermarket HID system and get that installed on the 01 TL without too much work required? If so, can any aftermarket HID system work?
