Corner light bulbs
k, this weekend im clearing my corner lights. santa ana winds are suppose to hit LA this weekend. so im thinking it would be the best time. (for those of you who are wonder what santa ana winds are.. winds that come from the North east...and east..that have little or no moisture in the air) anyways, just wanted to know what type of bulbs i will need. and are there different types? are they going to be that nasty white-with yellowish color?
I assume you're talking about the side marker/turn signal bulbs (type 1157). You can get hyper whites, which reflect blue in the light housing - this looks tite in cleared headlights. I guess it's somewhat "illegal", but I havent been bothered yet, and our city has notoriously *****y cops.
The hyperwhite bulbs are M14 & M7's...you can check the pics in my sig to see how the reflects in the light housings. You'll see them for sure in the front corners but not really in the rears.

any suggestions for bulbs that would be a close match to the headlights..but that doesn't have such a strong blue tint. since my car is black, the blue may not give me the effect im looking for. SlyTLS... your car looks tight.. if i had a blue one, it would be no prob.
There has been discussion about the new Sylvania Silverstars, which have a silver coating, and blink amber. I don't think they have a 1157 available yet, bulb type in mention is the 9006 (foglight) I think.
