Coolent temp sensors (for ubnormal shaking)??
I have a 2000TL. Few days ago, I notice the car is shaking, not too noticeably, but it was shaking. I went to a mechanic and had him just look at it and tell me what the heck is wrong. He said to change the Coolent temp sensor.
Then I went to Acura stealership and the stealer told me there are two coolent temp sensor; one is for the block and other is for computer.
I dont know which one I should change?
Now, someon in the thread might say, "why dont you take it back to that mechanic" well, i burned all the bridges with him.
Any ideas guys??

why the coolant temp sensors?
Is there a check engine light?
If not it could be a bad motor mount or 2? How is your idle? Is it lower than normal? It could be alow idle or a IAC valve. Or it could alos be a clogged or dirty egr. Also when was the last time the plugs were changed? they could be wearing out

The motor mounts had been replaced by previous owner, and I think they are good. The car idle at 800-900rpm. What is egr? I changed the plugs about a month ago. I had the shaking problem b4 and after plug replacement.

IAC Idle Air Control. EGR Exhaust Gas Recirculation. Mounts are notorious for failing. could be that causing it.
Is there a CEL light
