Clicking noise
Hi,
I'm a new owner of Certified 2003 Acura TL.
It's fine, but there is a clicking noise from engine.
I can hear it also when driving.
Dealer says it's a valve (EGR?), but it's OK.
They put a foam around the device to dump the noise.
It's located next to the brake fluid container.
It has a few hoses connected and one goes to the intake manifold (to EGR valve?).
It's really kind of working valve.
It's louder when engine is hot and gas is pressed a little bit, like 1500-2000 RPM.
What's your opinion? What kind of valve is it?
Should it be replaced?
Thanks for any advice.

If it really bothers you and its under warranty have them replace it. If you arent buy a new one and replace it yourself to save some money. There isnt any thing wrong with the car and it wont hurt it. Many have this issue. I do and live with it. It only happens when cold out.
