Coolant Spill

Hello to everyone. Im back after a long break lol. I just got back from being out of the country and have a small problem with my car. I started it up and it worked fine and all but heard a weird hissing sound but didnt pay much attention to it. So i moved the car to the garage and it sat there for another 2-3 days due to me being sick. So i decided to start it and let it warm up. I noticed about 4-5 minutes later there was coolant all over the floor. Car is at 140k, services up to date. Water pump and coolant changed at 105k. I looked at the pipe but found nothing wrong. Radiator seems fine. I will be pulling it apart once i feel better but could it be anything else? What are the odds the water pump went bad? I used oem parts when the work was done. Any help is appreciated.

Your best bet is to trace where the leak comes from. at least starting where the puddle was.

go to parts store and borrow the pressure tester (deposit returned)

its possible for a water pump seal to dry out but that should take much longer

Check all hoses first, quuikest and easiest...Then grab the pressure tester and go from there.

All the pipes look ok and caps are ok and on tight. Cant tell where the puddle started since i didnt see it start. I got into the garage and it was already there. Car didnt heat up or anything since i used the remote start to start it up and it turned off. I havent started it since. I will probably try to find a shop that loans out pressure testers. Any shops you know 01tl4tl? I know autozone use to but recently was told they stopped. Thanks

Well turns out it was a tiny pipe under the intake that was cracked and leaking. Had to feel for the leak since i could i not see it. So i just cut the tip of and reclamped it. So far seems fine now. Thanks

No, didnt do any mods like that. Only mod close to it was the intake. Close but not touching. The pipe came up and bent down so i guess over time just wore out.
