coolant level

For those who have their coolant changed either DIY or by dealer, is it normal that the level in the reservoir tank drops a bit several days after the change? I suspect the tech didn't bleed the system completely, that's why it drops a bit on my ride. I am concern because it happened to me once that the Honda dealer didn't tighten something completely and the reservoir was dry. Also I could smell coolant after I parked. Now, I am kind of smelling coolant after a change last Friday, but I am not seeing any fluid on the floor. Any clue?

if he didnt bleed it, its normal for it to drop down a bit.
just make sure the coolant level doesnt drop after a few days.

sometimes they spill coolant, where it reaches the bottom tank, burns and makes a bad smell. not sure if this is the case with yours, but it if is, it'll go away in a week or two

you bleed, the level drops
you don't bleed, the level won't drop

The tech did his job.

Thanks. Did you learn that from a tech? But are talking right after the change, or after several days later?
