for what it is worth i still think you made the right choice in keepingthe car. the lady i sold my 99 to now has almost 200k on the car and has still only had to do regular maintenance. no tranny problems. the guy i sold my 01 to has a little over 150k no tranny problems. my 03 less miles but still fine. it sounds like you don't know a lot about cars.. thats fine. a lot of us guys don't either. but if you take car of your car it should last you for some time to come.

as far as easy mods to the car. update headlights/tailights. oem (factory) body kit. and rims. easy stuff to do. they don't mess with reliability and make you smile every time you look at your car...
