Thumbs up Comptech Sways

Wow...I didn't expect such a difference. On corners where I had major body roll, it now feels like the car is running on rails. Totally amazing. I highly recommend them!

Mine should be here Friday! I have enjoyed having just the springs, and I can't wait to add the sways to them! Does it really make that much difference? I guess I will find out for myself soon enough!

You installed both front and rear right Ramsen?

Installing both would make cornering even better I would imagine.

I installed both...there are previous posts on the forum from Mike at Comptech that explain why they provide sways for the front and rear...I respect their R&D (they haven't let me down so far) and I certainly like the results in the way my car handles!

Ramsen and Titan - both of you have Mugen exhausts and now both of you have sways.

I have Mugen as well and want sways for my next mod.

Question: I understand handling improves but what about ride quality, particularly harshness over bumps. I remember reading sometime back that sways may increase the jolts over bumps. If the ride is not badly effected, I will get the sways as well.

Thanks

You're right, with these sways, you get the feeling you could easily push the car beyond the tire's limits....what a nice problem to have!

You will feel a partial improvement, but I would highly recommend getting the springs and you will be in a whole new world of handling with the TL

I've got the stock shocks and it made a huge difference....sure if you drop the car you'll see even more improvement, but at the expense of your luxury ride.

Question

The Comptech instruction sheet indicates that it is very important to torque all bolts to factory specifications. Can anyone with swaybars provide the ftlbs required for the bolts on a front and rear installation.
Thanks for any assistance, as I want to do this job right, without going to an Acura dealer.
