I may be installing my new Comptech Springs soon. I was reviewing the DYI instructions (which are no longer avail on this site for some reason) and it meantioned marking something before i compress the spring. I dont understand what needs to be marked and why. Any clarification would be appreciated.

you'll need to align upper mount and the strut in the same way they came off when installing new springs(in terms of 360 degree)
if either upper mount/strut is turned slightly, the spring unit won't fit right into the folk which holds the strut. sorry i can't really put these into words you'll see what the instruction is talking about once you pull out the strut/spring unit. good luck!
