Comptech Quiet tip insert

Does anybody have the Comptech Quiet tip insert? If so how much of the noise is cut down.

Thanks
Alan

I have em. They make the car sound just like stock at crusing speed. It totally gets rid of the 2500 - 3000 rpm droning noise. I highly recommend them.

Best part is you can pop them out in 2 minutes if you want it a bit louder.

Quiet tip inserts make taking the car on a trip at regular cruising speeds much more tolerable....without them the drone started to give me a headache.

Definately, I got tired of the drone from the Comptech after a while and got these. Car sounds perfect now.

How'd you guys install the quiet tip inserts? Do you just need a screwdriver and stick them in there?

You need to drill a hole into the inside of the exhaust tip. They come with instructions and a bit.

An automatic center punch will definately help as well.

I have an Accord V6, has a 3.0L V6 (J30A) vs. your TLs 3.2L (J32A)... I have Axle back exhausts - Bosal Brospeed. Everything is satisfactory about it. I just wonder why there is a mild drone at 2000-3000rpms in overdrive (D4)? It's more noticeable when it's really cold out regardless of engine temp. Also, it's bad on a Hot summer day as well. Any suggestions please?
