I installed my icebox on saturday but i had to leave it loose cause my front driver side Headlignt harness prevents me from installing it all the way. Has anyone else had this problem and if so let me know how and if u fixed it? I have a regular TL not a type S.

 

From my understanding you have to do some type of cutting/trimming. Try a search on this, I've read about this on the boards...

 

Correct, you have to cut the opening a little bit bigger on the cover to make it fits.

 

on the icebox or on the headlight?

 

I've got a 99 and Comptech had to grind open the upper box so it fit around the HID cover. I took mine to Comptech so they could use it to make the template.

Call Comptech and they will probably send you one that is already ground open to fit. They have to modify the upper lid for the 1999 - 2000 TL-P.
