Compressor problem

It seems when my compressor kicks in it kicks really hard. I can hear it kick in in the car and then it makes the car idle rougher than usual. Has anyone else seen this?

i can hear the compressor kick in as well..makes me feel i have lost alot of power....but does not make my car idle rougher than usual. does your idle fluctuate more ??

yes, it feels like it doesn't idle at the same speed but the RPM's stay the same.

You have to remember when the compressor kicks on so does your a/c fan as well.

i understand that, but i just don't remember it kicking in this hard. maybe i just never noticed it before.
