Compliments on my TL-S

Probably most (or some) of you already knew that I innstalled my kits and also zainoed my car this past weekend. I posted some pics in the gallery forum already.

Well, when I first got the TLS back in july 2001, a lot of people in the office already talked about my car, how fast it is, how expensive (cheap??), how shiny, etc etc..... and everyone was like lining up to try my ride.

well, trust me, with and without the body kits do a lot of magic. after i lowered my car no one said anything. but this week, after i put the kits on, boy everyone of them is talking about my car again. they were like, "you saw his car? what has he done to the car? it looks sooo "mad" and sporty now!" oh man does that feel good.

today 30 of us went out for lunch, and of course, i was chosen to drive. the people who sat in my car was like, "damn this thing is nice, how luxury and quiet!" at the restaurant we all parked togther, and they were all talking about my cars again and how shiny it's.

hehe, it's just fun why so many people talk about your car it's cool

I agree. It feels good when people compliment my ride.

BTW, bodykit makes the biggest difference (exterior-wise). So for all you bodykit-less people, go get one now.

Is there any hope in he11 that I can put the Acura TL body kit on my 2001 Accord LX v6 Firepepper Red sedan?

I mean, the side skirts, can they be a direct fit? Can I make the front and rear valences from the TL (1998-2000) or the (2001-2002) fit on to my stock Accord bumpers?

The kit is the ticket if you want your car to stand out. Some people don't like it (they claim it looks "bolted on"), but who cares. It really makes the car look agressive.

"That's a TL???"

exactly. i thought that the kits would make my car looks more sporty and that's about it. but wow, once i installed i realized that this is what i really need. it really makes my car special when i am in the parking lots or so. and even on the freeway or on the street, more people wanna race me @_@

Fuggedaboutid, i have no idea.... you can ask Mr Hyde, he had an accord before and he took off the side kit too. i think the front and the back are hopeless though, they are just different?

I'm amazed by how many compliments I receive on my car, the wheels, the kit, the speed/quickness/power, the ride, the Zaino shine, etc. etc. I was with friend test driving some BMWs and she couldn't believe how much more shiny my car was than any of the BMWs on the lot.

I love my car. Too bad the tranny sucks.

I've got to agree, the body kit totally changes the appeal & persona of the car. Personally I hate our cars in stock form (no offense to anyone it's just my opinion). They just seem very plain to me. The body kit seems to liven the body up. It looks more aggressive and much sportier.

It's expensive, though... I've thought of buying the kit once or twice but I'd rather spend the money on sways and springs first.

Besides, I like the sleeper "touring" look better. Just slightly lowered, maybe spoiler, no kit, wide tires.

You should have angled for a discount on the kit when you were negotiating.....or given them the same ultimatum my parents gave: "Free kit or no deal"
