Do it if you want to kill your oem shocks, otherwise you might as well save up for real coilovers, especially if you want ride height adjustable.

^^ To ADD
Do it if you have some sort of Damping Control < Usually these shocks are made to be lowered.
EX: Tokico Illumina, KYB AGX, Etc...

OEM Shocks or any other "OEM" Style will die incredibly faster in relation on how low you go with sleeves.

The only reason why I didn't mention other shocks was because it would make more sense to still get full threaded body coilovers rather than sleeves. When you heighten and lower sleeves you change the height of the spring which in turn will either compress the shock more or "extend" it.

Whereas Coilovers have a preload and the only thing you change is ride height and damping settings, of course depending on which you get.

I would suggest Koni Yellow sport struts with the Ground Control Coilover sleeves. The Ground Control/koni combo is one of the best handling suspension setups for our chassis, and it's incredibly easy to adjust. With my GC's, I can raise or lower my car without even taking the wheel off.

Thanks everybody for the replies!! I have kinda tried to do some research and I think in the end that I am just going to save up for coilovers. Seem like either way I go the price will end at around the same price
