OK, my clock's back light was out for awhile. I have tried tapping on it, it didn't work. (Someone posted it before). Last weekend, after couple glasses of Merlot, I tapped it again, bing, it came back. However, I'm not sure if the back light should be on all the time, including when low beam and parking light are both off. Anyone knows? Thanks.

 

The back light should always be on when any combination of the lights are on .... all other times it will remain off

 

So that means something is wrong for the electronic, because my clock's light is always on? Even with all lights off.

 

The only time the back light is off is when you take your keys out. It will stay on all the time when your drive.

Yah, my clock light went out a while back too. I brought it into Acura and they replaced the bulb under warranty.

 

funny, i was able to get my back light to come on after tapping it a couple times after i been drinking too..

btw, acuraTLao, did the dealer make any scratch on the dash after replacing the bulb? That's been why I'm hesitated to bring it in, glad it works now.
