Peeps, is there any way to clear a tail light. I know the way to clear a head light and I was wondering if the same could be done to the rear. I did a search and didn't find anything useful. Also, if it is not possible and I bought an after market pair are they relatively easy to install? Thanks.

I know of nobody who has tried to clear their taillights. Many have used tint or the spray on tint to darken them. Many pepole just purchase the 2002+ taillights and install them. They fit perfectly on 99+ and you may need the wiring harness for around $20-30

Clearing the tailights?? do you mean geting the orange out of a 99 tailing?? or get alzetas??? If u get alzeetas be prepared to be flamed, Its just not for a TL in most ppls opinion

Yes, I was talking about getting the orange out, not alteezas. Please, I would never buy alteezas for a TL. Any of you guys that have changed them out with 2002+, was it easy?

 

Changing them out is easy, just the wiring harness is a little different, but can be fixed with a little tape.

 

buy type s tail lights ..its not worth all the hagle doin it manually.
