Clearing headlights
Clearing headlights
Is it possible to clear the TL headlight? How is it attached? I've heard on some Hondas/Acuras that you can just melt some of the orange reflectors off with alot of heat or something.
damn boy u got losts of questions...there is an FAQ somewhere on this site...check out my sig...you can clear it out, but it takes along time..
1. take off bumper
2. take lights out make sure u disconnect all your bulbs
3. heat the headlight edges till the glue melts
4. pry the headlight open
5. take out the yellow piece
6. reseal it with silicone (waterproof)
7. make sure it's nice and tight
8. good luck!
it's actually alittle more complicated then that but in a nut shell that's the steps...

Just remember that there is a chance that your lights will fog up if you don't seal it up tightly. IMHO, don't do it, not worth the trouble.

You could probably put two bubls in the signal area and wire up some relays so the clear ones turn on when the headlights on but when you signal, the amber ones turn on. I am not an electricial but I don't see why not.
But why would you do that? Front turn signal lights can be either amber or clear (in CA).
